Should I submit multiple URLs/pages from my Web site?

That depends on the nature of your site, but, if carried out wisely, submitting multiple Web site pages individually might prove a winning strategy. Technically, a Web site spider will crawl an entire Web site and thus find all of its pages. The search engine likely will index multiple pages from the site. However, in some cases, submitting pages individually could speed up the search engines’ turnaround time and ensure that the spider will find the exact pages you would like indexed.

In general, if individual pages on your Web site offer unique content (and unique Meta and Title tag data) you may consider submitting those pages separately. When using this method, it is imperative to create actual content for each site, including unique, relevant page copy and Meta tags. Submitted pages that do not offer actual content will not be listed. Therefore forwarded URLs should not be submitted. By ensuring that each submitted page is a legitimate entity, multiple sites can be indexed, and by making those pages point to each other, inbound traffic will have additional access roads. This can be done by, if applicable, making each page represent a certain branch of the business represented by the main domain. This strategy can prove very effective, and it is particularly useful for large, widely branched businesses.
